About us

 

Goodwood Scenics was founded by Ben Hewitt in the early months of 2014 using his knowledge of the OO gauge model railway market.  We began just trading on eBay, mostly selling model railway, slot cars and vintage toys.  We then became a company in 2016 and moved into new premises in Coventry in 2017.  We also began manufacturing a small range of ballasts and basic scenery products which began our Bulkscene range in 2018.  

 

We used to supply one of the largest ranges of second hand model railway models in our highly recommended eBay store www.ebay.co.uk/str/goodwoodscenics.  However the pandemic ended our consistent supply of pre-owned items and we moved to 3D designing and printing in 2020 which has been a huge success and we now offer one of the largest 3D printed model ranges available.  All our products are designed and manufactured in-house, in the UK.  We have a huge printing capacity which is growing every week and we offer all our products fully assembled and painted.  We are concentrating on steel, scrap metal and oil depots as our main focus of products but we get hundreds of requests for various products and projects so you'll see new products added each week.

In 2023, we partnered with Rails of Sheffield to begin selling a range of our products on their website.

Due to hundreds of request from the O gauge and N gauge communities, we will be manufacturing a select range of our products in O gauge and N gauge throughout 2023.  We will remain specialist 1/76 scale modellers for the bulk of our products.
